Dr. Neal R. Garverick, CRNP is a board-certified nurse practitioner through the ANCC. Born and raised in Gettysburg, PA. He started his nursing career in cardiac critical care at the former Pinnacle Health System Polyclinic Hospital then moved to the ER at Harrisburg Hospital.

This experience led to the completion of his Master’s Degree as a Nurse Practitioner where he spent the first 5 years of his CRNP career working in Hanover at Hanover Family Practice Associates. Most recenlty, and for the last 16 years, he worked for Wellspan Health at Herr’s Ridge Family Medicine.

During his time at Wellspan, Dr. Garverick completed his Doctoral research on the viability of nurse practitioners providing primary care services though the Direct Primary Care model. With this research, Dr. Garverick founded NRG Health, a Direct Primary Care practice and healthcare corporation with fundamental values of access, exceptional care and service and most importantly the delivery of cost-effective healthcare. In addition to the DPC practice, NRG Health is dedicated to providing DOT physicals and this has become the main service line offering. Dr. Garverick is joined by his wife Dr. Kristine Garverick, CRNP who in addition to her lifestyle medicine practice, Be Well & Good, is also a certified medical examiner and provides DOT physicals.

Dr. Garverick currently resides in Dillsburg with his wife and their 2 children. As a family they enjoy many adventures including travel, golf, aviation, property redevelopment, and community advocacy.
